Oregon Family Travel: Mt. Angel
One of my favorite places to visit in Oregon is Mt. Angel.
They are home to Oktoberfest Have a beautiful Monastery you can visit: Mt. Angel Abbey Where you can tour the chapel, visit their museum, and visit their amazing library designed by Alvar Aalto It all rest on top of a mountain with the most beautiful views. AND if you are a lover of good beer, the Monks have a Benedictine brewery just up the street.
You can stay at the beautiful Oregon Garden Resort nearby in Silverton. Where you can easily access the Oregon Botanical Garden or visit a Frank Lloyd Wright design: The Gordon House. One of my favorite places for photographs.
