Were You Lucky Enough To View Totality?
We Were!
Our little Oregon Town was in the path of 100% totality so we viewed the entire eclipse from the front yard with our family of 10 and a few friends. We did school lessons leading up to it, where the kids learned what causes an eclipse. And the older girls cooked snacks for our eclipse viewing party
All of our kids were interviewed before and after the event, and it was interesting to see their change in attitude after experiencing it. They were all more impressed than they were expecting to be. But I think my favorite part was that our 6 year old described the entire event in her pre-eclipse interview with more detail than any of her older siblings.We don't plan to miss the next one!

We captured the entire thing - including before and after interviews with our kids on what they expected to see. It was far more exciting than any of us imagined it would be.
